Privacy Policy

TabAlerts has no sign-in. You don’t give us a name, an email or a password to use the app. The app creates an anonymous account tied to your device.
What we store on our server
- Device record: a random device ID, a hash of the access token, the platform, the app version, and when the device was first and last seen.
- Push token: the token Apple or Google issues so we can send notifications to your device.
- Alerts: the pair, the price, line or percent you set, the repeat setting, your note and the history of fired alerts.
- Notification presets: names, colors, delivery and sound settings.
- Installation statistics: once a day, and after an update, the app sends the platform, the iOS version, the app version and build, and the device model (like “iPhone18,1”, never the name you gave the device). We store it with the country we look up from your IP address on our own server (the address itself isn’t kept), under a key that can’t be linked to your device record or alerts, and delete it after 30 days. We only look at totals.
Our servers are in Poland.
What stays on your device
Your watchlist, folders, app settings and custom sounds are stored only on your device.
Who else receives data
- Binance and Bybit: the app gets prices and candles directly from these exchanges, so they see your IP address and which markets are requested. Their own privacy policies apply. When a direct connection fails, the app gets the same data through our server instead.
- Other exchanges, such as OKX: the app gets their data through our server, so they see only our server, not your device.
- Apple and Google: they deliver notifications and process purchases. We don’t receive your payment details.
- Sentry: crash reports and performance data, sent to its EU region, so we can fix errors. We turn off the collection of personal data in these reports.
- Cloudflare: serves this website.
We don’t sell data and we don’t use it for advertising.
Why we use it
We use this data to run your alerts, send notifications, keep the app working and count how many installations are in use. Where GDPR applies, the legal basis is performing our service for you and our legitimate interest in keeping it stable.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes what is stored on your device. To remove your data from our server, write to [email protected]. You can also ask for a copy, or a correction, of your data, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
TabAlerts is not meant for anyone under 18.
